# Dynamic Staking Terms

<mark style="color:$warning;">These terms apply exclusively to currently active staking positions. These pools remain active until their scheduled end dates to manage existing PnL cycles. No new participation is possible in these sections; all new capital provision is routed through the Liquidity Pool.</mark>

## Changeable Dynamic Staking Constants

**Dynamic staking limits are possible to change in the contract following the pre-defined conditions.**

{% tabs %}
{% tab title="Current limits" %}
Those are the currently valid limits that are set as the best for the Betfin community growth.

<table><thead><tr><th width="252">Settings name</th><th width="173">Current settings</th><th>Note for communication</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>Minimal staking size</td><td>10,000 BET</td><td>10,000 BET</td></tr><tr><td>Maximal staking size</td><td>N/A</td><td>There is no limit</td></tr><tr><td>Calculation window length</td><td>300 sec</td><td>5 minutes (Monday 12 AM UTC)</td></tr></tbody></table>
{% endtab %}

{% tab title="Maximal possible limits" %}
This table describes maximal and minimal limits that can be set by the administrator's quorum for each constant of settings.

<table><thead><tr><th width="252">Settings name</th><th width="203">Minimal possible limit</th><th>Maximal possible limit</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>Minimal staking size</td><td>3,000 BET</td><td>10,000,000 BET</td></tr><tr><td>Maximal staking size</td><td>There is no limit</td><td>There is no limit</td></tr><tr><td>Calculation window length</td><td>5 minutes</td><td>24 hours</td></tr></tbody></table>
{% endtab %}
{% endtabs %}

## Hardcoded dynamic staking terms

**Following dynamic staking terms are hardcoded and can not be changed under any circumstances.**

<table><thead><tr><th width="224">Settings name</th><th width="176">Current settings</th><th>Explanation</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>Length of 1 cycle</td><td>604,800 sec</td><td>4 weeks (since Monday 12 AM UTC)</td></tr><tr><td>Staking duration</td><td>20 cycles + pool closing</td><td>80 weeks since pool is closed</td></tr><tr><td>Staking start</td><td>Pool closing time</td><td><ul><li>Staking duration starts after the dynamic staking pool is closed</li><li>If you stake more than once in one cycle then all your stakes will be counted in the first pool you staked in.</li></ul></td></tr><tr><td>Closing pool condition</td><td>End of cycle or full pool</td><td>The dynamic staking pool is closed once the pool is full (100 stakes) or once the cycle ends (once per 4 weeks)</td></tr><tr><td>Eligibility for payout</td><td>Immediately</td><td>You get your first cycle payout once the first cycle ends</td></tr><tr><td>Unlock right / obligation</td><td>None except duration</td><td><ul><li>Unlock is possible only after staking ends</li><li>After staking ends the unlock is not mandatory</li><li>Staking earns rewards even after its duration ends (including the negative staking results)</li></ul></td></tr><tr><td>Unlock process</td><td>Whole pool unlock as a bulk</td><td>Once the staking duration ends any staking owner is eligible for unlock. This action unlocks and executes all stakes in the pool to the owner's staking balance.</td></tr><tr><td>Max pool capacity</td><td>100</td><td>Once the pool reaches 100 stakes it is closed and a new pool is opened</td></tr><tr><td>Unfilled pool over cycle</td><td>Closes</td><td>If the pool is not filled once the cycle ends it is closed. At the beginning of the new pool, there is always a new pool opened.</td></tr></tbody></table>
