“Events” is a thrilling prediction-based game where players place bets on the outcomes of various real-world events. From sports matches to global political milestones, participants can test their intuition and analysis in predicting outcomes. This game allows for betting on major events, like the US Elections 2024, where players can place bets on candidates such as Donald Trump or Kamala Harris.
For purpose of this guide we will use an example of the event "US Elections 2024".
You can find all important info on the initial screen, top to bottom:
Name of the event.
Date of the event.
Possible outcomes you can bet on.
Countdown showing how much time there is left to place a bet.
Statistics - you can see other user's bets and their total volume.
Connect Wallet: Connect your wallet to Betfin.
Select an Event: Choose from a list of active events. The game will feature a wide variety of events, from popular sporting matches to global events like elections, award shows, or financial outcomes.
Place Your Bet: After selecting an event, choose the participant or outcome you want to back. For example, in the US Elections 2024, you might choose to bet on either Donald Trump or Kamala Harris. Enter your stake (the amount of your bet).
Time of Bet Placement: The time at which you place your bet plays a crucial role in determining your potential bonus. The earlier you place your bet, the higher the bonus you’ll receive if your prediction turns out correct. This encourages placing bets as soon as possible to maximize returns.
Monitor your bets: You can see all your open bets in the "My Bets" tab on the bottom of the page.
Each event has a set deadline for determining a winner and paying out rewards. The payout time is listed in each event’s terms & conditions, and a countdown to payout is displayed for all completed events. If, for any reason, the event isn’t decided by then, Betfin will refund the bets. The decision is made by the decision wallet.
The payout for winning bets is calculated based on:
• Stake Amount: Your reward is proportional to your stake. The larger your bet, the bigger your share of the total prize pool.
• Bet Placement Time: Early birds get rewarded! Bets placed earlier receive a higher bonus compared to those placed closer to the event’s conclusion.
Event time: 5.11.2024 11:00 CET (you can place bets until this time)
Payout time: 13.11.2024 11:00 CET (the rewerds will be paid out at this time)
Decision wallet:
Minimum bet: 1 BET
Maximum bet: none
3.6% of all bets go into conservative staking.
5% goes to a bonus, which is distributed to the winners based on their stake amount and the time they placed their bet.
Bet early: Secure the maximum possible bonus by betting early. Let’s say you bet on Donald Trump three months before the election, while another player bets on him one week before the election. If Trump wins, both players win, but the first player will receive a significantly higher bonus because they placed their bet earlier.
